Liana turned a year older

The kitchen

Washing the mushrooms

Cooking them with some Shan masalas, courtesy my aunt

Our lunch spread, indianized mushrooms, bread with pepper spread, and cheese for dessert!

Laundry room schedule

Figuring out how to use the machines

Entrance to our dorm

Group bathroom

The shower stall

View from our second floor balcony

My breakfast after a very long night of meetings. Left-over pizza with lemon tea that looks pink in Romania!

The only thing we do, buy food. Currently the contents are, pizza, apples, bananas, yogurt, Bounty, mushrooms, bread and orange juice

Our over-flowing snack shelf. Notice Marianna's little coffee machine

Present from AIESEC Timisoara: a planner and a pair of ceramic Romanian shoes, where I keep my jewelery

Finally I saw something Indian. I actually met a girl from Kerela too

Union Square. The next few pictures are building around the square

The public buses, run on electricity wires like the trains in Bombay. Look at the cable on the left

On the way to the Ocean Supermarket. Its much much bigger than most Wal-Marts

At least they have Starbucks. Its a different thing I didn't see anyone inside

What can I say, I'm incredibly famous!

Budapest is just a 3 hour drive away

The ubiquitous Dacia car

Clock in the park near the Continental

Timisoara is quite a small town, everything is about 30 minute away, so people prefer to walk, at least the people I know walk everywhere. It's good exercise for a slob like me. Yesterday was my AIESEC buddy, Liana's birthday. We went out to celebrate after the meeting, and got home tired.
I can't sleep until late here because it gets very bright in the morning. Our room is flooded with sunlight.
The good part is we have to go to work after 5pm. We spend the day getting to know the city, or preparing our presentations for work.
We are invited to Liana's house for Easter, and this weekend we're going to Cluj-Napoca by the bus.
